Oils & Fats
Oils and greases play a decisive role in the care and maintenance of all two-wheelers. In this category we carry all lubricants for motorcycles, mopeds and scooters from GDR production. Learn more about oils & fats
Oils and greases are used in bicycles in very different areas. Engine oils and gear oils reduce friction, wear and heat dissipation in the engine. Fork oils are used for damping and lubrication of bearing bushings and guides, and mixed oils are special oils for two-stroke engines. Greases are used to lubricate a wide range of components from gearboxes to chains. Regardless of where oils and greases are used in the two-wheeler, they must be replaced at regular intervals.
Oils for two-wheelers
Motor oils for two-wheelers are either mineral, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic. Gear oils are divided into six classes from API GL-1 to GL-6 according to a globally recognized classification of the American Petrol Institute (API). The abbreviation GL stands for "gear lubricant" and the indicated figure for the load capacity of the oil, which ranges from low (GL-1) to very high (GL-6). Mixed oils are semi-synthetic or fully synthetic oils especially for two-stroke engines. Fork oils differ in their flowability, the so-called viscosity, whereby the higher the viscosity, the greater the damping effect of the oil.
Fats and sprays
Many oils and lubricants are also available as sprays. In addition to oils, our range also includes all greases required for two-wheel maintenance - from chain grease to gear fluid grease to rolling bearing grease. In addition to original products from well-known manufacturers, we also carry replicas in this category.
