However, the chrome parts require extensive care with suitable chrome care products several times a year to ensure a long-lasting shiny appearance. Unsuitable are all sponges and cloths with rough, scratchy surfaces as well as acidic, corrosive cleaners.
Weather-related influences, especially the use of road salt in winter, quickly damage the chrome layer and promote the formation of rust.
