Gehäuse vor Eintreiben des Stiftes erwärmen und keine Öle etc. benutzen.

Die Zylinderstifte sind unbedingt notwendig weil damit sich die Gehäusehälften vor dem Verschrauben vernünftig zentrieren und die Dichtungen sich besser Positionieren lassen. Vor der Montage die Bohrungen für die Zylinderstifte prüfen und gründlich reinigen. Bei der Montage ist es sinnvoll die Gehäuse zu erwärmen und den Zylinderstift leicht gefettet einzutreiben.

Falls er nicht auf Anhieb passt, dann liegt es im Normalfall an der Bohrung im Motorgehäuse.

Vor dem Einbau kann man das Gehäuse erwärmen und mit etwas Fett die Stifte vorsichtig mit dem Hammer eintreiben. Aber vorsichtig, dass man das Gehäuse nicht beschädigt.

Am besten gleich ein paar mehr bestellen, wenn man regelmäßig Motoren überholt, da diese relativ oft fehlen.

Besser woanders im Internet nach hochwertigeren, gehärteten Zylinderstiften mit Fase suchen. Diese erleichtern die Montage der beiden Motorgehäusehälften ungemein.

Gehäuse heiß machen, Stift abkühlen und dann behutsam einpressen.

Etwas Polfett an den Kontakt im Rücklicht und an der Lampe verhindert Korrosion und somit Kontaktschwierigkeiten

Wen man die Bohrungen vorher erwärmt, lassen sich die Stift gut mit einem Schonhammer eintreiben.
