Racing crankshaft 85cc - 105cc
Our new racing crankshafts in solid cheek design are currently the best crankshafts for your Simson engine. In the completely newly manufactured crankshaft, we were able to realize many design advantages over a subsequently rebuilt Simson crankshaft. Due to the 1 mm wider crank cheeks in each case, the basis for optimal balancing and higher rigidity (stronger press fit) is laid. With the help of the pressed-in aluminum plugs and the lighter connecting rod, the balancing is adapted to our S85 piston. This results in a low-vibration engine run, increased rotation and longer bearing life. For the bottom guided bearing we use a high quality silver plated needle bearing (13 mm wide) with silver plated thrust washers. This eliminates the need for the upper thrust washers in the piston and provides space for a 16 mm wide needle bearing.
