ZT Tuning conversion kit for disc brake conversion
Based on the original Simson Telegabel for disc brake, a Telegabel with optimized damping and suspension was developed.
Inside, the damper was completely revised, so the bore cross-sections for the tension and compression damping were adjusted and a hydraulic end stop was added.
Through these measures, very good damping characteristics, with simultaneous high ride comfort, are achieved.
The fork is completely prevented from bottoming out.
Another highlight is the easy and quick to adjust spring preload by means of a preload sleeve. The telescopic fork can be easily opened from above (in the installed state) and the preload sleeve can be removed and, if necessary, a longer or shorter sleeve can be installed to adjust the preload.
Thus, depending on weight or desired hardness, each driver can adjust the fork according to his preferences.
The fork is filled with a very thin oil in the delivery state to achieve a good compromise between comfort and damping.
For racing use, a somewhat thicker oil can be selected here and, if necessary, the preload sleeve can be selected a little longer.
With these measures, the fork is also absolutely suitable for race tracks.
