Description
With the GEN2 carburetor in series optics, we no longer wanted to make any compromises and have brought this carburetor type to the current state of the art.
Thus, the gas slide was provided with a coating as in almost all modern carburetors and a plastic float is used for the first time.
This has several advantages, the jamming of the slide is avoided and also the wear is significantly reduced. The plastic float has 2 major advantages:
1. The times of soldered joints or small leaks are a thing of the past.
2. The float is less sensitive to engine vibrations, which means that the function is still guaranteed even at higher speeds and the associated vibrations.
Due to a change in the air supply, 100% of the intake air is now also supplied via the air filter housing, which results in a significant advantage, especially in the case of fine impurities in the air such as dust.
Overall, we were able to significantly improve the overall casting quality. Thanks to an over-milled flat surface on the float chamber, leaks are also a thing of the past.
