: The signal horn is preset ex works and usually does not have to be adjusted any further. However, it may be necessary to readjust the horn to adjust pitch and volume.
This adjustment is made by means of the lower adjustment screw between the two contact shoes. The signal horn must be activated at the
same time.
Make sure that the lower adjusting screw is not pressed through the diaphragm, as this will damage it. Please do not work over the noticeable resistance, otherwise it comes to
a total failure.
Please then counter the adjusting screw again to accept the settings.
Notes
Note for chrome parts:
Chrome-plated parts give the vehicle a noble appearance. However, the chrome parts require extensive care with suitable chrome care products several times a year to ensure a long-lasting shiny appearance. Unsuitable are all sponges and cloths with rough, scratchy surfaces as well as acidic, corrosive cleaners.
Weather-related influences, especially the use of road salt in winter, quickly damage the chrome layer and promote the formation of rust.
We would like to point out that we have to treat such complaints particularly restrictively.
We recommend that motorcycle owners who shy away from the high maintenance effort use vehicle parts made of stainless steel.
