5-Speed Racing Transmission for Simson, starting with the 2nd gear, for MX and circuit racing
- all gears and output shaft from Ronge Motorsport, made in Chemnitz/ Germany
- for easier assembly and better function, all bearing seats are designed as sliding fits
- loose gear 1st gear with wider teeth (10mm)
- Reinforced shifting key and precisely manufactured output shaft
- high-quality material (higher core strength) and larger gear module, for the highest loads
- hardened thrust washers/ shims
Translations: the gear ratios largely correspond to the long 5-speed transmission without 1st gear
- 1st gear (2nd) 2.533
- 2nd gear (3rd) 1.875
- 3rd gear (4th) 1.555
- 4th gear (5th) 1.333 (longer version 1.278)
- 5th gear (6th) 1.158 (longer version 1.105)
- suitable for S51 and S70 with 5-speed transmission
- complete with kickstarter gear and shift drum (MZA)
- the shift drum (MZA) must be adjusted if necessary
- the housing must be slightly modified
- the transmission must be well lubricated during installation, it should be run-in for 5 hours under medium load
