This technique eliminates the need for adhesive and safety wire and ensures durable, non-slip performance. ProTaper's exclusive, super slim window core on the clutch side not only minimizes the outer handle diameter, but also provides critical relief areas for the palm and fingertips. The result is increased shock and vibration damping over competing full core designs, resulting in significantly improved driving comfort and better control. The handle surface uses a particularly supple sticky joint that is seamlessly shaped to the inner core. This provides maximum comfort and traction and relieves blistering. A firmer connection is used in the flange and end cap areas to withstand lintel damage and reduce wear.
