Racing Crankshaft Long Stroke 48 mm
With our new Long Stroke Crankshaft, we are expanding our product range for Simson to include another highlight. In the completely newly manufactured Crankshaft, we were able to realize many design advantages over a retrofitted Simson Crankshaft. The 1 mm wider Crank Arms provide the basis for optimal balancing and increased stiffness (stronger press fit). Using the pressed-in Aluminum Caps and the lighter Connecting Rod, the balancing is precisely adjusted to our S85 Piston. This results in a vibration-free engine operation, increased revving ability, and longer bearing life. For the bearing arrangement below, we rely on a high-quality, silver-plated Needle Bearing (13 mm wide) with silver-plated End Plates. This allows the upper End Plates in the Piston to be omitted, and a 16 mm wide Needle Bearing fits.
