Electronic ignition of PowerDynamo - without alternator - observe reverse polarity, magnetic field direction - for post-reversal rotors with copper rings - is also described as "System S3" - does not replace the alternator! Note: This system is an exception ignition system. Please carry out the so-called compass test for magnetic field determination before buying. If you mistakenly use the wrong ignition system, significant complications are to be expected. You absolutely need the original alternator as the basis for this system. Mechanical changes to the engine are not necessary, replaces the breaker or other electronic ignitions, such as ESE + PVL ignition systems. This ignition system must be operated with a battery! Be sure to observe the installation instructions included in the set in order to avoid failed attempts.
