Then it's high time for a repair. - The frame base is important to properly lock the engine mount, connect the footrest support to the frame, or attach the main stand or brake lever to it. - If it is not repaired or replaced in the event of damage, the frame foot may tear off completely, which can lead to even greater damage, up to the endangerment of one's own life. - This welded part is therefore a practical and cheap way to replace the frame base individually if it is too damaged for repair or has already been carried out too often without having to change the entire frame.
