Product information "Horn 12V with chrome holder - for Simson S50, S51, S70, S53, S83"
Horn 12V - chrome plated - fastening to the middle of the housing - incl. holder Note: The signal horn is preset from the factory and usually no longer has to be adjusted. However, it can happen that you have to readjust the horn to adjust the pitch and volume. Adjustment is made using the lower adjusting screw between the two contact shoes. To do this, the signal horn must be operated at the same time. It is important to ensure that the lower adjustment screw is not pushed through the membrane, as this will damage it. Please do not work over the noticeable resistance, otherwise there will be a total failure. Then the adjusting screw should be re-tilled to accept the settings.
Notes:
- Chrome-plated parts give the vehicle a sophisticated look. However, the chrome parts require extensive care with suitable chrome care products several times a year to ensure a lasting shiny appearance. All sponges and cloths with a rough, scratchy surface and acidic, corrosive cleaners are unsuitable.
Weather-related influences, especially the use of road salt in winter, quickly damage the chrome layer and promote rust formation.
We would like to point out that we have to handle such complaints particularly restrictively.
We recommend the use of stainless steel vehicle parts for motorbike owners who shy away from the high maintenance effort.

Man sieht halt das es ein Nachbau ist... Aber Preis Leistung sind überzeugend. Den Ton kann man leicht verstellen. Hab mich erschrocken wie laut die ist.

Hupe 12V mit Halter in Chrom - für Simson S50, S51, S70, S53, S83
Bin mit der Hupe vollstens zufrieden. Hatte mir 2009 schon mal solch eine gekauft, aber in der 6V Ausführung und hält bis heute. Sie ist gut verarbeitet und macht einen lauten Ton, völlig ausreichend. Wird aber mit einer M8 Schraube befestigt anstatt einer M6 Schraube! Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir!
