These shapes usually have a high material thickness and the piston is therefore correspondingly heavy. Langtuning is breaking new ground with the construction of the LTP-A pistons. This is of course much more complex and requires appropriate experience. However, this means that the piston weight is an average of 10% lower than usual pistons in the quality price segment and around 20% lower than the cheap standard pistons. At the same time, the pistons could be reinforced with an appropriate strut design, depending on their size, so that they are not only lighter, but also more stable. The LTP-A pistons are optimized for slot-controlled Simson cylinders. Thanks to an extra wide inlet shirt, very wide inlet channels for tuning cylinders are also possible. At the same time, the LTP-A pistons are also suitable for standard cylinders and can be used without any problems. The piston windows are positioned in such a way that there is no short-circuit with the inlet or side outlets.
