Race crankshaft 60cc - 70ccm Our new full-cheek racing crankshafts are currently the best crankshafts for your Simson engine. In the completely newly manufactured crankshaft, we were able to realize many constructive advantages over a subsequently converted Simson crankshaft. The crank bolsters, which are each 1 mm wider, are used to lay the foundation for optimal balancing and higher stiffness (stronger press fit). With the help of the pressed-in aluminum plugs and the lighter connecting rod, the balancing is adapted to our S60 and S70 pistons. This results in low-vibration engine running, increased rotational ability and longer bearing life. For the storage below, we rely on a high-quality, silver-plated needle bearing (13 mm wide) with silver-plated thrust washers. This means that the upper thrust washers in the piston can be omitted and a 16 mm wide needle bearing can be accommodated.
