Short term 150°C. Maximum pressure at 10 bar. NovaPress® Universal is one of the most mechanically robust fiber gaskets and has exceptionally high chemical resistance. As an all-round material, it can be used in an extremely versatile way and also proves to be durable and reliable in the temperature limit range. AFM 22 consists of a skewered and galvanized sheet steel as a carrier on which an asbestos-free soft material mass is rolled on both sides, which contains inorganic fillers and high-quality elastomers as a binder in addition to aramid fibers. AFM 22 has very good mechanical strength, very high temperature resistance and pressure resistance and still adapts well to the sealing surface. The material is resistant to oils, fuels and mixtures of water with antifreeze and anti-corrosion agents. Maximum operating temperature is 400°C.
